Formal Recruitment Dates
Thursday, September 5: Recruitment Orientation
Friday, September 6: Philanthropy Round
Please ensure you are available for the afternoon and early evening.
Values are an integral part of each sorority. Each sorority is built upon certain values that its chapters share nationwide and that its members strive to live by. Open House Round is the first day of Formal Recruitment and is a chance for you to get to know more about the values these organizations hold, community service and philanthropic efforts of the organization, and aspects of the national sorority. On this day, you will visit all five chapters.

Saturday, September 7: Sisterhood Round
Please ensure you are available for the entire day.
Sisterhood is undoubtedly one of the biggest aspects of sorority life. Being able to connect with other women and devlop bonds that will last a lifetime is truly a special experience. Sisterhood round is the second day of Formal Recruitment and is a chance for you to learn more about personal stories related to sisterhood benefits, diversity of relationships, and support systems within the chapter. On this day, you will visit up to three chapters.
Please ensure you are available for the entire day.

Sunday, September 8 (Morning): Preference Round
Please ensure you are available for the morning and early afternoon.
Preference round is very special, and each organizatiom will have a specific ceremony designated to reflect the individuality and ritual of the organization. Preference round is the last day of Formal Recruitment and an opportunity to have more in-depth and personal conversations with the women in the chapters regarding their recruitment experience, why they chose their chapter, and more importantly, why they have stayed in their chapter. On this day, you will visit up to two chapters. At the conclusion of Preference round, you will make your final selections by ranking the chapters visited.
Please ensure you are available for the morning and early afternoon.

Bid Day is the culmination of Formal Recruitment. At Bid Day, you will receive an invitation to one chapter, your new sisterhood, and to your new home! Each chapter has their own unique bid day celebrations to celebrate the arrival of new sisters.
